Whether it is upholstery on chairs or fabric for curtains and cushions, the colour of a fabric can make a room feel warm and cosy or bright and fresh. The texture of fabric used, for example silk, linen or chintz, will also have an effect on the look of the room. It is also important that the scale of the design on a fabric is suitable for the size of the room or window.
